Character Challenge 9 of 31: Amazon Guard Nasliope

The Burgermeister of Windemere Crossing, Paoaytie Hatheo, is an aristocrat Amazon. On the tail end of a 100 year journey across the world, she is needed back in Elencia as the gods seem to be gearing up for a war. Athena wants all her children back safe. Amazon guards have scattered across the world to track her down and bring her home to help command the armies.

Nasliope is the guard who has heard of the giant woman ruling Windemere Crossing, and following that rumor is on the most recent caravan to that trade town. Along the way, the caravan was attacked by a patrol of gnolls, and would have been lost if not for this mighty warrior's actions and the swings of her doonga or double-edged axe. A tall woman, she wears leaf armor and gauntlets, sandels, and a bronze circlet. Her accent is exotic even to the varied people in the caravan, and she has the odd turn of phrase. She mostly ignores males and helps with the caravan chores. The riding beasts all seem to like her, and she spends more time with the animals than the people. While not shy, she prefers solitude. She eats her meals alone, and practices daily after the caravan has found a place to stay.

OSE Fighter is pretty close. The Amazons get some special bonuses, and as she is a level 5 guard that specializes in axe combat, she has a +4 to hit and damage with that axe. She has a +3 on all other attacks, both ranged and melee. She also carries a bow (1d6 +1), a staff, a shield, and a tanga or sword.

At 6 and a half feet tall, she is taller than most. Radiantly beautiful, she is oblivious to those who stare. She does not tolerate any advances from males. Which those who tried in her travels have found out the hard way, waking up with only a concussion if they were lucky. She seems somewhat tired on this trip with the caravan, and only starts to perk up when battling the gnolls.

I could not find the book on Drivethru RPG or Eric Bloat's site. Here is the Kickstarter link at least!
